ford cl55 skid steer specs Hi All, I have just acquired a 1985 Ford CL 45 Skid steer. It is very hard to start initially, but once it has run for a few min it will start good the rest of the day. I suspect that the injector pump may be leaking back and loosing pressure, and /or the glow plugs are not working. I have not did any troubleshooting on either yet.

Selling our Ford CL55 skid steer. We found it is alittle small for our needs so rather than thrash it after all the work we did to it we want to sell it and get a larger one. Runs and works great and there is hardly anything we did not touch. . I am new to the forum but find forums like this really helpful. I'm looking at a Ford CL-40 skid steer and trailer set up. I'm hoping I can can a couple of opinions. 00 for the machine and trailer. current owner has owned it for 10 years and just used it around his property. within 5 years new hoses, air ride seat, tires runs well. Just got this 85 Ford CL55 a week ago and cannot figure out how to bleed the air out of the fuel system. It has fuel to the pump but after that it is just barely dripping and the machine will not start. There is no solenoid on this setup so it is all gear driven.
