Looking to swap out my engine on my New Holland LX665. Can I use a Kabota engine to swap in there. The engine is toast and I'm having a hard time finding a New Holland engine and was hoping a different engine would do the job.

The one I think i want has under two-hundred hours and is a 2006 model 185 with cab/heat, foot (standard ) controls, 2 speed, also hy flow hydraulics and was farmer .

Just picked up a B3.3 for the same swap into L185 new Holland. The Iveco/Cummins 3 cylinder they came with no longer produced and impossible to find enough parts in the world to rebuild one with hole in block.
With what a new one costs, it generally wouldn't hurt to replace the engine, or rebuild it. If you are not experienced enough to undertake this endeavor, extract it and take to a reputable rebuilder. Lots of little tricks on every engine.
