Turns out that the engine oil pressure switch wiring was compromised somewhere between the engine and cab. I did a standalone wire and it's been good for 4 years now. Hi Stan.Low oil pressure would be caused by worn or failed bearings or a faulty oil pump. Remove the intake boot from your turbo and check it for signs of oil in the intake or the exhaust side. Also make sure it spins freely and there is no damage to the impeller and it does not contact the sides of the housing.

I'm getting a low oil pressure warning on my machine. Changed the oil and filter and had the same problem. Removed the filter and there was no oil in the filter. My book says check the oil galley to see if plugged, the oil strainer to see if it is plugged, relief valve is stuck, or broken relief valve spring.Insufficient engine oil - Fill up the oil to required level. Clogged radiator core or damaged radiator cap - Replace cap or clean radiator. Fan belt slipping or worn - Install new fan belt. Engine overloaded - Reduce load on the engine. Oil pressure is low Lack of oil - Fill up the engine oil.Low hydraulic oil level - Check and refill the hydraulic oil. Clogged hydraulic fluid filter - Check, clean, or replace as required.
