Im sorry doobin but i must disagree with your opinion, iv hires a good few bobcats from a local hire company, used the E10, E17, E20, never liked any of them, prefer my old New Holland E18B, hired a few Takeuchi TB216 machines and they are a far better machine, completely different geometry compared to the bobcat.
Thing is the ones which use the bucket pin aren't as easily removable for narrow trench work. More than 90% of machines sold in the uk are probably destined for the hire market hence we don't really get many factory options as demand is low.
