Hi, new here and I recently purchased a Case CX33C. It’s a nice little machine with less than 1,000hrs. The problem is the buttons on the gauge cluster cracked letting water in, ruining the cluster. This cluster is all encompassing fuel/temp/hrs everything and . the new hollands' from the mini exc, sr up to 135sr up to the 20 ton size, eh215 are made by kobelco too. WHILE KOBELCO STILL CONTINUES TO MAKE AND SUPPORT THE FULL EXCAVATOR LINE THRU ITS MANY KOBELCO DEALERSHIPS CARRYING THE 17SR ALL THE WAY UP TO THE LATEST LARGEST BUILT TO DATE THE SK850LC-8. Cant say much good about the EC series New Hollands. Poor machine performance and poor parts availability come to mind. We only sold a few EC series and customers hated them. New Holland dident have a excavator until they got in bed with Kobelco. My boss has tasked me with finding the best mini excavator to buy. He wanted me to find a forum and find out what people are saying and which ones they like best. So ladies and gentlemen, what is your opinion on the best mini excavator?

They still make the mini excavators for NH (up thru a E50) & will continue doing so for some indeterminate period. So, I would think that a 2006 NH EC600 is certainly a Kobelco. If you look carefully, there should be a Kobleco id plate on the machine (there is on my EH80). Case and New Holland mini excavators are made by Kobelco and for all intends and purchases beyond trim are the same exact things. The New Holland full sizes are made by Kobelco and although Kobelco is part of the CNH (Case/ New Holland) conglomerate Case full size excavators and made by Sumitomo who also make Link Belts.
I am in charge of several New Holland excavators model E215C evo, E385C evo and E485C evo, and they have presented problems with the oil seal of the motion planetary reducer even before they reach 1000 hours.
