We converted a 3-point Shaver HD-10 post pounder to mount on our Bobcat S185 skid steer. We are having significant issues with getting good downforce to actually drive a post. We have talked to Shaver and have the special fitting for the return line to feed both the return and the case drain. The conversion can be done but it needs to be engineered correctly. I suggest you go to the following link and look at, the hydraulic, the hydraulic technical help section, and the mechanical couplings they have.

I bought one of these bobtach to 3 pt convert attachments. I just wrote this in the homade forum on another thread. They are cheap enough and work ok, but the lower connections are fixed as opposed to a tractor 3 pt set up where the mower arms can swing in and out to accomodate width. I can convert my current driver for the Skid Steer but I don't have a good way to secure the return line to the hydraulic tank, and I doubt the return line on the aux hydraulic will allow oil to release fast enough.
