My husband and I just purchased the same 545 skid steer. I have looked on ebay, amazon and googled. We are trying to find a service manual for it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. The one i am looking at has an owner that doesn't know the model but it is a early eighties model and is yellow with a four cylinder gas engine. I ran across a Mustang 940 skid steer with low hours. Just wondering if people have experience operating these skids? What controls are used on these machines? Are parts readily available? I have attached a picture of the one Im looking at. Mustang used to have their own style single pin quick attach that nothing else fit. I would also suggest going up a size to a 1000 or preferably a 1300 lb. rated capacity skid steer. I am looking at a 2076 mustang skidder. I am not familiar at all with the mustang line. Are these things any good? What are some weak points on them that I should look for?
