From the looks of the schematic the horn is the only item that gets power to that button as well as the starter, and ignition switch. We can jump start the unit and it starts right up and starts to recharge the battery as it is supposed to do. Any suggestions?
If we pull the saftey relay fuse, the machine runs for a long time with both lights on, until the battery drains from not being charged by the alternator. So it looks like I've got something setting off the safety relay.
If you have power, jump it to pin 3, and the fuel shut off should pull in. If it doesn't pull in, you have a bad wire from the relay to the solenoid. If it pulls in go to step 2.
I disconnect the fuel line after the main fuel filter and turn the key, the diesel flows no problem! so it's not a fuel blockage after all? now I am totally mystified as to why it won't start.
