Not radially, but side-to-side, since they are fairly thin and have no real hub.1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.) KV15227. 2. Remove each drain plug (B) located on bottom rear of skid steer. 3. Fill each chain case until oil appears at fill plug threads. Chain case capacity is 11 L (3 gal). Checking and Adjusting Chain Tension. The drive motor carrier is generally the spot that causes leaking oil into the chain case, another spot is plugged case drain filters causing excessive pressure. Trace from the small hoses on the drive motors back to the oil tank, there will be aluminium cans, these are filters. Open them up and check for metal particles that could clog the filter.
