I just bought a case 1840 skid steer with 1800 hours on it in pretty good shape. I was looking at the mclaren industries tracks for it, however today a friend of mine told me these will destroy your skid steer. This doesn't make much sense to me, I would think if this were the case no one would use them. Is there any truth to this? We have a Bradco backhoe too. We use it with our 246 CAT skid steer. Not sure of the model # but it's the biggest one they make. They are powerful enough. Max depth is around 11'. It is a pain getting in and out of the cab to move around. If you have enough work a mini excavator is the way to go.
